Dan "Cosmo" Grupp, PhD, CEO & Founder

Dr. Grupp loves to solve big problems. Recently he developed Hemex Health's malaria diagnostic device, which was just released to the market in India, and is set to save millions of kids' lives. He has PhD in physics from U. Penn and holds  over 25 patents. When he was a Visiting Scholar at Stanford, he invented  a transistor now in the iPhone. 

Zack Afridi, CMO & Co-Founder

Zack has an MBA and is the master of grit. He has a strong marketing background, and a superpower to reach people and close deals. He has founded or been a founding member of three startups, one of which has been acquired, and a second one is in the acquisition process.

Ian Felix, Board Member

  Ian has brought multiple medical devices to market. 5 of 7 of the companies he worked for have been acquired.

John Ashley, Board Member

 John has developed multiple medical devices in orthopedics. He has held several C-level positions. He is responsible for $1.2B in exits.

Dr. Frederick Mihm, Advisor

Dr. Mihm is the Co-Director of ICU at Stanford University Medical  Center. He has been on over 49 medical missions around the world. 

Dr. Ted Hobbs, Advisor

Dr. Hobbs is the Head of Surgery at the Oregon National Primate Research Center and a Professor at OHSU. He is the CEO and founder of Quantiport, and inventor of their diagnostic device. 

Chris Boas, JD, Business Development and Strategy

 Mr. Boas is a Silicon Valley start-up veteran, having founded Zeptoo,  Airbanq, and Sourcetrace. He holds a mechanical engineering degree from  Stanford.
